How do I use AI to generate ideas?
How does AI benefit my business or research process?
AI in Upsiide provides several benefits. This first release allows for automated idea generation. Upsiide works best when testing between 10 and 30 unique ideas. Using AI will allow you to efficiently expand your base of ideas to test in any study (currently it will only generate text-based ideas at this point).
Our work with A.I. generated ideas for things like flavors, names, taglines and even full product descriptions has shown that on-average these A.I. generated ideas test at least as well as human generated ideas and in many cases better.
How do I request additional ideas from the AI and edit them within Upsiide?
When setting up the Idea Screen section of your Upsiide study you will first be asked to choose a template for how you want your ideas to be shown.
In the 'Add more ideas' section you will see: 'Create ideas from scratch' or 'Import Ideas' as always, there is now a new option: “Generate With AI”
A box will pop-up (see below) and you simply identify the type of ideas you would like to generate and complete the prompt questions to get your ideas.
After it has generated a list of ideas for you, you can edit them within the text box, delete ones you don’t like.
There are some preset prompts - 'Generate More Like This', 'Get More Creative' and 'Follow My Lead' that can help you hone in on the ideas you want. If you select “Follow My Lead” you will be prompted to prompt with an idea of your own in order to better direct the new ideas being generated.
When you have the final list you are happy with, simply select “Use These Ideas” and it will automatically populate your template for you.
Can I combine AI-generated ideas with my own ideas in the testing process?
Absolutely! Upsiide allows you to combine AI-generated ideas with your own ideas seamlessly. You can leverage the power of AI to expand your idea pool and test a diverse range of concepts within the platform.
Is there a limit to the number of ideas I can generate using the AI feature?
No, there isn’t a limit to the number of ideas you can generate. Simply click the “Generate More Like This” button or tell the AI how many ideas you want it to create once your first list is generated and continue that process as much as you need.
How does AI help in analyzing the survey results and generating insights?
This release does not include anything that allows A.I. to access the results of your studies and it is not leveraged in the analysis of those results. Future releases will include integrations on the analysis side, but will adhere to our strict data privacy code.
What support or resources are available to assist clients in understanding and using the AI feature?
