Why your audience stopped
There are 2 reasons for a stopped/paused audience:
Incidence Rate Check
Slow field or error
Incidence Rate
Upsiide studies using audience marketplace receive an Incidence Rate check at 100 completes. If your study’s actual Incidence Rate (IR) is lower than the predicted Incidence Rate of 35% , your audience will stop in order for you to agree on the new increased price.
Upsiide will only continue to run your study and release the data when you have agreed to a new price.
If your IR is above 35%, the audience will not be stopped, your audience data will be release and the audience will continue to field.
What are your options?
If your audience stops, it will look like this:
In this case, your options are the following:
Accept the new rate
Your audience will remain the same as you set with any advanced or custom targets. You will be charged the new rate.
Decline the new rate
If you select 'Decline New Price', you will be asked to once again confirm that you do not wish to proceed. The responses that you’ve collected for your study will not be visible in the report dashboard.
Slow Field or Error
When your audience is paused for reasons aside from the IR check, you will receive a notification. This notification is to let you know that the Dig One technical team has noticed that your audience is not performing as it should and has stopped your audience from taking a closer look at its performance. The team may look at Advanced and Custom Targets, quotas, incidence rate, programming errors, and other factors that could be hindering the performance of your study.
Our team may resume the audience if no other issues are detected, or will reach out if there are adjustments to be made.
How to manually stop an audience
When managing the fielding of your audience, you may need to stop the audience and end the survey for respondents.
