We have compiled a list of commonly used questions that have been useful for many users to include in their research studies on Upsiide. Some might be relevant to your research while others might not be as applicable.

We recommend to focus on your research objectives and to keep your survey as short and easy to take as you can.

The questions included below are separated into different categories for your convenience and can be easily copy and pasted into your survey set-up on Upsiide!

Pricing Questions

Examples of Typical Pricing Questions

  • Can have ranges of prices for answer options

  • OR a numerical open-end (useful for early-stage testing)

Note: Whenever using numerical open-ends, it’s best to set realistic min and max values to prevent entry errors from respondents (i.e., answering with 399 instead of 3.99)

How likely would you be to buy this product if it were offered for $X?

Price Sensitivity Meter Grid Question

Please indicate how you feel about the product if it was offered at the following prices.

Answer Options :

Common Attributes

When setting up your grid questions, include the most relevant attributes or statements according to your research objectives. Keep the list of attributes short and concise!

Below are a list of commonly used attributes that are seen in these types of grid questions:

  • Different vs. what is available now

  • Better than what is available now

  • Would solve a problem that I have

  • Would make my life easier

  • Would be enjoyable

  • Would be a new experience
