In this article:
Whether your collaborating with teammates or need to share your insights with stakeholders, we have made it easy for you to share your OneCliq report.
Sharing your Social Report
In order to share a Social Report, it must be fully generated.
Once you are happy with your insights and are ready to share with your team, navigate to the "Share" button in the top right corner of the screen.
From here, the "Share Report" modal will open. Reports can be shared in 2 ways:
Inviting users to the Report to view
Creating an access link
Managing Social Report access
Whether using a public invite link or inviting users directly to your OneCliq Report, you can manage access easily from within the Report itself.
By default, existing Upsiide users with permissions of Space Viewer or above will have access to all projects in your account- these account level user permissions will remain unchanged.
Adding Social Report Guests
You can invite a new user to your project as a Report Guest, this will give them access to only the Report, the rest of the account will be inaccessible for them.
To add a Report Guest:
Open the "Share" modal
Type in the collaborators email and select "Invite"
The user will receive an invitation to join Upsiide. Once they create their account, they will be able to access a secure preview link that lets them view, but not edit, your Report.
Users invited from the "Share Report" button will automatically be assigned Report Guest permissions. Report guests will only have access to the Report they are invited to with no editing rights, and will not be able to see other projects within the account.
Within the Share modal, you will be able to see all users who have access to the Report, regardless of their permission level.
Should you need to make changes to user access on the account level, click the gear icon in the Share modal to jump to the user permissions page. Here you can update broader access settings.
Creating a Public Share Link
Alternatively, you can create a public link to share your Report. With this link, anyone who has or receives the Report URL can view your Report - no login required.
Open the "Share" modal
Select "Publish to anyone with the link" and select confirm
Copy the link and share with stakeholders or team members
To remove the public settings, you can simply toggle off the Public Share Link to make it private again. This will no longer direct users who previously received your public link to the Report.
Exporting your Social Report
Should you need to share your Social Report outside of the platform, you can export it to either PDF or CSV.
Navigate to the top right corner of your Social Report and select Export. From here, select either PDF or CSV export.
Understanding Permission Levels
With the introduction of new permissions, it is important to understand the different permission levels for your Social Reports. To learn more about account-based permissions you can refer to the User Management article.
Report Guest
Report guests can only view the Report they have been invited to, and will not have access to any other content within the account.
Read-Only Enforcement
Guests see all Report controls disabled (no editing options) to ensure your content stays unchanged.
Public Link Access
When your link is set to public, this means anyone with the link will have access to the Report. Links can be shared via email, posted to social media, or shared via chat apps.
Error Handling for Unauthorized Users
If someone clicks a non-public Report link without any access rights, they’re redirected to the home page with a notification explaining they don’t have permission to view it.
FAQ
I have turned off my public link. Will the users who I shared the link with be able to see my Report?
No, once a public link is reset to restricted, the URL then becomes invalid.
Do I need to invite my coworkers or clients who have account access to view my Report?
No, any users with existing account access will have access to your Reports already! If you input their email in the share modal, you will be notified that the user already has access.
